Intervention Details:
•Sedfa undertook a product quality intervention and appointed SABS to assist the business with product testing for chemical efficacy and to improve shelf life. The intervention was completed in November 2024.
•Sedfa, through the Asset Assist Programme, funded the business with the vital equipment required, thus eliminating bottlenecks and greatly improving the output capacity of the operation. The equipment was delivered in December 2024.

Outcome Details:
•The client was fully funded for R223 063,58 worth of manufacturing equipment through the Asset Assist Programme. This increased productive capacity by 50%
•Turnover increased by 8,84% from R212 709,10 the previous financial year to R231 519,00 in the current year
•Net profit increased by 46,61% from R37 528,13 the previous financial year to R55 019,00 in the current year
•Employment decreased from 3 employees to 1 employee
•The client received favourable results from the chemical analysis and managed to improve the shelf life and quality of the product.
