Intervention Insights and Results

Intervention Details: The client approached Seda Cape Winelands Branch to seek assistance with the growth of the business, where he was introduced to Mphumzi Mange, one of the Business Advisors who conducted a diagnostic assessment, the Critical Planning Exercise (CPE) on the business. The aim of the CPE is to plan and prepare financial projections for twelve months or more and simulates various “what if” scenarios. The assessment assisted the business to make accurate, realistic financial predictions and develop a plan which significantly contribute to the business viability and how best to improve competitiveness and grow the business. The following recommendations were implemented:
• Trade exhibition (WTM 2025), and
• Facilitation of coaching and continuous business advice
Outcome Details: The following results were achieved:
• Turnover increased from R 284 444 to R 321 422, which is a 13% increase,
• Profits increased from R 92 464 to R 120 242, which is a 30%increase and.
• Employment changed from 2 to 4 employees, including the owner.
