Challenges/Needs:
The Business Advisor assessed company operations and recommended a series of interventions which would assist the business. One of the recommendations was for the directors and staff to be trained, mentored and coached. It was also diagnosed that the business also experienced productivity challenges.
In addition to these operational challenges, access to finance emerged as a critical barrier. The business required capital to purchase equipment and raw materials, making financial support a key factor in its ability to scale and meet market demands.

Intervention Details:
Through various interventions initiated by the Branch, the Branch enrolled the client into a 10-month Seda Enterprise Coaching Programme.
Productivity SA was also brought in as a stakeholder to assist the client with a comprehensive productivity improvement programme, through their Micro Enterprises Kaizen and Coaching Programme.
To further support growth, Cynoli Trading was able to secure access to finance from SEDFA amounting to R 940 065,83.

Outcome Details:
Over a period of three years there has been some good strides in improving Cynoli Trading’s turnover from R 41 461.00 in FY 2022-2023 to R 135 422.87 for FY 2024-2025, which is an incredible 226% turnover increase. Employment increased from 1 employee in FY 2022-2023 to 2 employees presently, resulting in 1 job created over the duration.
